Tracy D. Orwig (MSW, LCSW-C), Director of Patient Access, Education & Advocacy for the Maryland Chapter of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society will speak at the quarterly meeting the Chesapeake Multiple Myeloma Network (CMMN) on Saturday, August 2, at 4:00 PM. Her talk, “The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society: Resources and Programs for the Multiple Myeloma Community” is free and open to the public. The meeting will take place at Shore Memorial Hospital’s Nick Rajacich Health Education Center.
The Chesapeake Multiple Myeloma Network (CMMN) is an informal eastern-shore group of individuals affected by multiple myeloma, a blood and bone marrow cancer. Its mission is “to provide ongoing resources of information, support, shared experiences, and hope for persons with multiple myeloma, their families, and friends.” CMMN’s meetings last about an hour and a half.
The Nick Rajacich Health Education Center is the brick building to the right of the Memorial Hospital main lobby entrance, which is at 219 S. Washington Street in Easton. Enter the Rajacich Center from Washington St. and take the first hallway on the right. Go through a set of double doors and Meeting Rooms A & B will be on your immediate left.
